Tomato, Mozzarella, & Basil Salad
| This recipe is especially great with home-grown
tomatoes from your garden, a friend’s garden, or the farmer’s
market. |
What you’ll need:

3 large ripe tomatoes, sliced |
| • |
1 pound fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced |
| • |
½ cup olive oil, cold-pressed, extra-virgin |
| • |
2 tbsp. wine vinegar |
| • |
2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh basil |
| • |
Pinch of kosher salt (or to taste) |
| • |
Pinch of pepper (or to taste) |
What to do:

In a large serving dish, alternate slices
of tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. |

Sprinkle with oil, vinegar, and basil. Season with salt
and pepper. |

This is a great starter or appetizer, as well as a salad
to serve with your favorite Italian dish. |
