Crock Pot Bavarian Pot Roast
What you’ll need:

3 pounds pot roast (organic or free range if possible) |

2 tsp salt |
| • |
1/4 tsp pepper |
| • |
1/2 tsp ground ginger |
| • |
3 whole cloves |
| • |
2 medium apples, cored an quartered |
| • |
1 small onion, sliced |
| • |
1 Cup apple juice or water |
| • |
1 cup beef stock (no MSG) |
What to do:
| 1. |
Wipe roast well, dust with salt and pepper,
and ginger. Insert cloves in roast. |

Place apples and onions in crock pot and top with roast. |
| 3. |
Pour in apple juice. Fill pot with water. Cover and cook
on low for 10-12 hours or on high from 5-6 hours, until thickened. |

Remove roast and apples to warm platter. |
