How Did You Feel After Dinner Last Night?

Some people love steak nights, while others can’t wait to twirl their forks around in that plate of spaghetti! This all comes from what our taste buds want and desire. The problem with eating just according to desires is that just because we have a taste for something does not mean it is the best thing for us to eat. When trying to determine what foods you should be eating, pay close attention to how you feel after eating certain foods.

Many of you have probably seen, or taken, our online Hauser Diet Quiz since we posted it last week! Some people get confused as to how to answer the questions. People are not used to thinking about how foods make them feel. The point of the quiz, and Diet Typing is to get at the root of what your diet should be based on – health, not preferences!

Did you take the quiz yet?

Once you are a patient at Caring Medical for Diet Typing, we will give you an even more extensive questionnaire to take during Diet Typing that will help us even more.

Although will be looking at lab results to determine diet, the answers to your questions can give us insight to your likes, dislikes, and your ability to choose what is best for your body! Issues of fatigue, gas, bloating, spaciness, and a whole array of other problems can be related to what you eat.

Yet, we are often quick to assign other causes to these symptoms. We all think stress is causing us to be tired, or that we ate too late so we feel bloated, or as women, we tend to blame a lot of “symptoms” on our periods. What if a lot of those problems could be resolved if we just ate the foods that were right for our Diet Type?

If you are really an Otter Diet Type, but eating like a Monkey you may become bloated quite often or constantly feel tired and not know why.

On the other side, if you should be eating like a Monkey, but are eating like an Otter, you may have issues with constipation or gas.

Of course with so many medications and drugs out there to take care of all our problems, we may not care why this is happening. But who wants to take unnecessary medications when the answer might be as simple as the food we are putting into our mouths! It is time to switch our frame of mind! Come find out your Diet Type. Try out your Hauser Diet and then see how you feel. Wouldn’t it be nice to leave the Tums at home on your next trip?!
